Music Performances
Canadian pianist Carol ip is a devoted music educater and performer. She received her Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia with Class I Standing and a Master of Music in piano performance at Indiana University Jacob School of Music. As a performer, Miss Ip has performed solo and chamber music on the stages across Canada, USA, China, Spain, Italy, Russia and Hong Kong
CDNIS alumna Zenan Kwan received her Master’s degree in piano performance at Indiana University where she was awarded a scholarship of Artistic Excellence Award to study with Professor Arnaldo Cohen. She did her Bachelor’s studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Zenan has given solo and chamber recitals extensively at various major venues across the world and in recent years has frequently appeared as a guest pianist in collaboration with the members of the Kong Kong Sinfonietta.

We are privileged to have on exhibit at the event a selection of wildlife photography by Gilbert Yu, a passionate and celebrated photographer. In addition to the exhibit, one of Mr Yu's photographs will be included in our silent auction.

Gilbert is a fine art and world-renowned salon photographer and educator. He developed his passion for photography during his teens and pursued a formal study in photography.
​
From 2007-2013 he actively competed in salons under the patronage of the PSA (Photographic Society of America) and FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art) and was consistently ranked in the world’s top ten; in 2008 he was ranked first. Gilbert is a SONY appointed photographer and has been featured in National Geographic.
Since 2013, Gilbert's focus has been on teaching and traveling. He founded the PhotoTop10 Institute in Hong Kong and actively promotes photography culture locally. He serves as an honorary advisor and exhibitor in many photographic societies around the world.

In 2016, Gilbert donated his award-winning photograph 'Fire Dragons' (above, right) to CDNIS in celebration of the school's 25th Anniversary.
